Description The SB-TEK SB-VP-51 is designed to investigate and analyze flow profiles with high precision, allowing clear detection of differences in flow formation through advanced measurement techniques. The experimental unit features a stainless-steel pipe section with a conical inlet that accelerates the flow, enabling the velocity profile to fully develop in the subsequent straight section. At the outlet of the pipe, a vertically movable Pitotstatic tube is inserted into the flow, enabling dynamic pressure measurement at various points across the pipe diameter. The position of the Pitotstatic tube is read using a digital dial gauge and adjusted with a fine hand control for maximum accuracy. The measured dynamic pressures are used to determine the velocity profile of pipe flow. The pipe section discharges into a stabilization tank with a transparent front panel, allowing clear visibility and observation of the measuring device.
