TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
General Parameters
The trainer operates from a 230V AC, 50Hz input supply and uses a regulated 12V DC operating voltage. It supports a wide frequency range of 100Hz to 30MHz with a measurement accuracy of ±2%. The system is built within compact dimensions of 600mm × 450mm × 200mm (L×W×H) and has a total weight of 10kg. It is designed in compliance with IEC 61010-1 safety standards for laboratory electrical equipment.
Hardware Modules:
Symmetrical/Asymmetrical T & ? Network:
The unit includes symmetrical and asymmetrical T and ? network sections equipped with variable resistors ranging from 1? to 10k?, precision capacitors ranging from 100pF to 1?F, and inductors between 1mH and 100mH, enabling flexible network analysis.
Attenuator Section:
A dedicated attenuator section features T-type and ?-type attenuators, each with a 0–40dB adjustable range and step resolution of 1dB for accurate attenuation measurements.
Filter Networks:
Integrated filter modules include low-pass filters with 1MHz cutoff, high-pass filters with 500kHz cutoff, band-pass filters centered at 2MHz with a 200kHz bandwidth, and band-stop filters centered at 3MHz with a 300kHz bandwidth.
Transmission Line Section:
The transmission line module incorporates selectable 50? or 75? coaxial lines, a quarter-wave transformer configured for ?/4 at 10MHz, and load options including open, short, and terminated terminations for impedance and SWR studies.
Antenna Measurement Unit:
The system contains a dipole antenna designed for ?/2 at 30MHz, a 360° rotatable mount for radiation measurements, and a built-in field strength meter for antenna characterization.
Measurement Instruments:
The trainer includes an RF millivoltmeter covering the range of 1mV to 10V, a digital frequency counter supporting 1Hz to 100MHz, and a phase difference meter with a measurement range of 0° to 180°. These instruments enable accurate, real-time analysis of RF signals and network behavior.
